About

Hi!

I'm Jasmine
I'm 21
I'm Vegan
I live in Singapore
I currently study Ecological and Environmental Sciences in the University of Edinburgh

Little bits about me:
I am trying to balance healthy eating and exercising and I'm trying to exercise because I like it rather than because I feel like I have a certain image to upkeep due to society's standards of beauty  I love nature, hiking, photography, bullet journaling, painting, traveling and would love to dedicate more time to doing all these things that I love

I'm not worried at all about what my plans are after uni - I would love to travel and I like to think that if things happen, they happen and there is no use stressing out about something that you cannot control (finding a job yes I can control but still no point stressing)

The most impactful thing coming to uni has taught me is to never take for granted the life that you live (it's more of something that came to mind to me in the period that I was at uni rather than something uni has taught me) : I have repeatedly told myself that I was always grateful for the life that I have but I have never truly understood the meaning of that statement. Not everyone can have an education whilst I am fortunate enough to study a degree of my choice in the university of my choice. Many people have not left their home city let alone their home country whilst I am able to travel because my parents have worked so extremely hard to be able to provide well for my sister and I.  Not everyone is allowed to date someone of a different race whilst I have such liberal parents that are supportive of my relationship.
